James 5:19-20 Part 2 of 2

My dear brothers and sisters, if someone among you wanders away from the truth and is brought back, you can be sure that whoever brings the sinner back will save that person from death and bring about the forgiveness of many sins.

Proverbs 14:12  There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death. (also Proverbs 16:25)

Romans 8:12-13  Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do. For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live. (see all chapter 8)

Hebrews 3:12-13  Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters, make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God. You must warn each other every day, while it is still "today," so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God. (see all chapter 3)

Psalm 130:3-4  LORD, if you kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord, could ever survive? But you offer forgiveness, that we might learn to fear you. (see all Psalm 130)

Luke 24:47-48  "It was also written that this message would be proclaimed in the authority of his name to all the nations, beginning in Jerusalem: 'There is forgiveness of sins for all who repent.' You are witnesses of all these things." (see verses 44-53)

Acts 26:17-18  " 'And I (Jesus) will rescue you (Saul/Paul) from both your own people and the Gentiles. Yes, I am sending you to the Gentiles to open their eyes, so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. Then they will receive forgiveness for their sins and be given a place among God's people, who are set apart by faith in me.' " (see all chapter 26)

1 Peter 4:8  Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins. (see all chapter 4)
